AGU Among Top 10 Universities in Turkey

The results of the 2016-ÖSYS (Student Selection and Placement System) showed that many programs in Abdullah Gül University (AGU) were preferred by the most successful students in Turkey. AGU ranked among the top 10 state universities with all its programs, most of which were listed in the top 5.

based on their base points, the Department of Molecular Biology and Genetics, which accepts students for the first time this year, ranked 3rd, the Departments of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and Architecture 4th, the Departments of Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration 5th among the top 10 universities.

While the Department of Civil Engineering ranked 6th, Industrial Engineering came 7th.

88% of the students placed at Abdullah Gül University have gained scholarship and 51% have the opportunity to attend the language course at the USA and stay at the university residences free of charge.

65% of the students from 35 provinces in various regions preferred AGU among their top 5 choices.

Stressing that all quotas were filled, Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu thanked all the students who preferred AGU.

Sabuncuoğlu added that their aim is to raise world citizens focusing on the strong academic structure, scientific study opportunities, impact in business world, social and cultural environment and international collaborations of the university.
