The Faculty of Architecture and the Coordination Office for Communication with Prospective Students of Abdullah Gül University (AGU) cooperated in organizing a workshop on Sustainable Development Goals for the students of Sami Yangın, Nuh Mehmet Küçükçalık, Nuh Mehmet Baldöktü, Sema Yazar, and Baki-Ayşe Simitçioğlu Anatolian High Schools, Osman Ulubaş Science High School, and Kayseri Kilim Social Science High School.
Prof. Burak Asiliskender, Dr. Sinan Akyüz, Dr. Sümeyra Ayık, and Dr. Sibel Sarı led the workshop, which delivered general information on and basic concepts of the Sustainable Development Goals to the students and involved discussions.
Afterward, the students visited the "Ortakçı Laboratory" under the supervision of Dr. Fatih Ortakçı of the Department of Bioengineering and the department's research assistants and observed the experiments on purification of bacteria.
