Bellona AGU Spor concluded the 2016-17 EuroCup Women competition in the second place.
Kayseri team took on Near East University, another Turkish team, in the cup final.
The match on April 5 at the Kayseri Kadir Has Sports and Congress Center, played to jam-packed crowds, was closely contested until the final moment and it was Near East University who left victorious with a final score of 73-69.
In the closely contested second leg played on April 12, Wednesday and watched by 11th President Mr. Abdullah Gül, TBF President Hidayet Türkoğlu, AGU Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu and both club chairmen at the İstanbul Caferağa Sports Hall, Near East won the cup 63-58 and AGU Spor concluded in the 2nd place.
Kayseri team won 13 out of 16 matches this season and came second for a 3rd time in the European Cups after 2012 and 2013.
