Abdullah Gül University organized a comprehensive orientation program for its new academics.
The program was organized by the AGU Center of Learning and Teaching (CeLT). In the program, CeLT Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Elif Bengü first introduced the rich history of AGU and its student body to the participants. Later, Rector Prof. Dr. Cengiz Yılmaz explained AGU’s vision and mission.
In the second hour of the program, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Dr. Evren Mutlugün informed the new academics about the ongoing research activities at AGU. Then, Selma Mert, Head of the Library and Documentation Department, gave information about the AGU Library, and Solmaz Şebnem Severcan, University-Industry Cooperation Officer, gave information about the AGU Technology Transfer Office.
In the last part of the orientation program, Prof. Dr. Burak Asiliskender, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, explained the educational policies and procedures of AGU to the new academicians.
