Abdullah Gül University (AGU) Culture and Literature Club organized the second poetry recitation event called “Poets of the City”.
The recitation organized by the AGU Culture and Literature Club and hosted by the poet Mustafa Kıyak, a member of KAYSADER, was held in the Rectorate Conference Hall of the Sümer Campus.
Poets Şeyhmus Çiçek, Yusuf Doğdu (Berbati), Köksal Akçalı (Asabi), Hanife Kantarcı, Kadir Acı, Mustafa Kıyak, Ali Rıza Demir, and Hamza Eroğlu, who are all members of KAYSADER, recited their own poems.
Yusuf Doğdu (Berbati) and Köksal Akçalı (Asabi) enlivened the event by call-and-response duet (atışma) with their poems.
The audience enjoyed the emotional moments with poems recited with the accompany of Galip Güler's (Cefai) saz (the instrument).
The Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Prof. Dr. Burak Asiliskender and the Advisor of Culture and Literature Club Assoc. Dr. Ahmet Kayasandık gave the poets their certificates of appreciation by thanking those who contributed to the organization of the recitation.
Academic, administrative staff, students and many guests attended the recitation.
