The Department of Architecture at Abdullah Gül University (AGU) organized a practice-oriented seminar on roof technologies.
The seminar was held at the Conference Hall of Large Warehouse Building. Engineer Mert Bıçakçı, Msc, delivered the seminar. He is a Product Development Specialist at Megaron, the roof technologies brand of Kılıçoğlu, which is one of the first tile factories in Turkey, established in 1927 in Eskişehir.

The seminar was held within the scope of the "ARCH 122 Materials & Behaviors" course of the Department of Architecture, run by Dr. Buket Metin. A team composed of Lecturer Bahar Elagöz Timur and Research Assistants M. Melih Utkan and Nurefşan Batmaz helped organize the event.
The roof system produced as a sample during the application part of the seminar is on exhibition at the Large Warehouse Building on the AGU Sümer Campus.
