The open seminar series of Abdullah Gül University (AGU) continued with a new edition focusing on the health field.
In the third seminar of the series, streamed live on YouTube, Dr. Oktay Kaplan, a faculty member of Life and Natural Sciences, delivered a speech on "A New Era of Fighting Rare Diseases."
During the seminar, Dr. Kaplan shared some general information on rare diseases, affecting only a certain number of people. Kaplan also put a spotlight on the impact of rare diseases on human life, narrating an actual event as an example.
The educational seminars are open to the public, cover a wide range of topics, and host AGU's academics from various fields. The seminar series is going to continue throughout the year every Wednesday at 16:00 and be aired live on YouTube.
