Dr. Sinan Akyüz and Dr. Sümeyra Ayık, members of the Faculty of Architecture at Abdullah Gül University (AGU), joined a summit titled Eko İklim: Ekonomi ve İklim Değişikliği Zirvesi (Eco-Climate: Economy and Climate Change Summit) at ATO Congresium, Ankara with their presentation on "Education for the Sustainable Development Goals." The summit aimed to raise public awareness about the climate change and economic issues.
Heads of states, representatives of public institutions, over twenty international institutions and organizations, academics from over thirty universities, as well as representatives from municipalities, organized industrial zones, technocities, and industry showcasing their good practices joined the carbon-neutral event in Ankara.
In total, 12 thousand people attended the summit in person, and an additional 50 thousand people followed it online. During the summit, the foundation of a fair and climate museum dedicated to "Economy and Climate Change" was laid.
The summit also hosted over 20 sessions with 150 national and international speakers, B2B meetings, certificate-awarding training programs, training sessions, workshops, and exhibitions.
