As part of the project "Creative Hub: From Local to Global," run by Abdullah Gül University (AGU) and supported by the U.S. Embassy in Turkey, a 24-hour marathon titled "Createhaton," designed to generate creative ideas and projects within the frame of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG), was held at the Abdullah Gül Presidential Museum.
Out of 20 teams who applied for the marathon, ten were selected to join. Nine teams were composed of the AGU students and one of the volunteers from the Kayseri Youth Center.
The marathon lasted 24 hours and was followed by the team's presentations and jury's assessment.
The jury members, Dean of Students Assoc. Prof. Alper İşoğlu, Social Sciences Institute Director Dr. Umut Türk, Technology Transfer Office (TTO) Coordinator Selahattin Aydoğdu, Kayseri Youth Center Director Fatih Yıldız, and EU Info Center Coordinator of the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce Cengiz Leblebici, listened to the project presentations and announced the first three teams.
The event was concluded after the jury and participants took souvenir photos.
