Abdullah Gül University (AGU) hosted an online panel titled "The Sustainable Development in the City of Kayseri" as part of the GLB 301 Sustainability Course.
At the second edition of the online panel series, held for the GLB 301 Sustainability Course, the concept of sustainability was analyzed in the example of Kayseri. The panelists were three esteemed speakers, specialized in their respective fields, and the panel was open to all the University personnel and students.

Moderated by Dr. Ali Duran, a faculty member of the AGU Nanotechnology Engineering, the online panel hosted Şafak Çivici of Sefes Mobilya, Mustafa Nebi Doğan of Kayseri Chamber of Industry, and Ahmet Şeref Bahçecioğlu of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality.

The panel focused on the concept of sustainability and the perspectives of the industry, business world, and local governments in Kayseri on sustainability. Among the topics discussed were what had been done for sustainability until the present and what more could be done in the future. The roles of the industry, business, and local governments in Kayseri were assessed in terms of sustainability. During the discussion, AGU's role in sustainable development work in Kayseri was commended.

Around 300 participants joined the online panel, which was concluded with the Q&A session.
