A memorandum of understanding has been signed between Abdullah Gül University (AGU) and Maastricht School of Management, which is considered the first and one of the oldest management schools in the Netherlands and the Europe, respectively. Both universities will open joint master and PhD programs and develop projects at world standards.

Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu was invited as a keynote speaker to the forum titled "Higher Education Leadership and 3rd Generation Universities" and signed a comprehensive memorandum of understanding with Maastricht School of Management.

Within the scope of the MoU, AGU Faculty of Management Sciences and Maastricht School of Management will open joint master and PhD programs. In addition, both institutions and faculties will produce world-class projects.

Education in undergraduate, master and doctoral programs is mostly in English at Maastricht School of Management, which is known for the importance it attaches to international education. 43% of around 16 thousand students of the school are foreigners.
