Abdullah Gül University and the Kayseri Chamber of Certified Public Accountants worked together to organize the Inspirational Strong Women Panel. The women panelists of the organization shared information on their business lives and careers.
The panelists were Dr. Armağan Teke Lloyd, Deputy Chair of the AGU Political Science and International Relations, Zuhal Gözüküçük, Chairwoman of Gözüküçük Manufacturing and Vice President of the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board of Kayseri, Ayşe Uzunlu, President of the Turkish Woman Association of Kayseri, and Derya Çopuroğlu, Board Member of the Kayseri Chamber of Certified Public Accountants.
Dr. Harika Süklün, Chair of the AGU Business Administration, delivered the opening speech, and Safiye Çalapkorur Horoz, Expert of the AGU TTO, moderated the panel.
The panelist talked about the role women played in business, entrepreneurship, and women's entering the labor force.
They also discussed hardships faced by women entrepreneurs and academics in Turkey, and took questions from the audience.
As part of the panel, saplings were donated to the TEMA Foundation on behalf of the panelists to help leave a better world to the future generations.
At the end of the organization, their Sapling Donation Certificates were presented to the panelists.
