Abdullah Gül University (AGU) Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu attended the EURIE 2020 (Eurasian Higher Education Summit), one of the biggest education summits in the world, as a speaker.
The summit continued for 3 days with various panels and seminars at Istanbul Lütfi Kırdar International Convention and Exhibition Center and attracted more than two thousand participants including rectors, vice rectors, academics, and experts in international education from 60 countries.
AGU Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu spoke about "Finding and Maintaining Your Edge" at the summit and highlighted AGU's innovative and entrepreneurial aspects. Additionally, the Rector elaborated on the importance of creative hubs for particularly new generation young people.
Emeric Abrignani, International Office Head, and Zeynep Tuğçe Çiftçibaşı Güç, AGU Youth Factory Coordinator, were part of the AGU delegation at the summit where universities promoted themselves at the booths of their countries.
The Eurasian Higher Education Summit is organized to internationalize Turkish higher education more effectively and set the stage for Turkish universities to form partnerships with world's reputable universities in various areas.
