AGU Rector Sabuncuoğlu One of "Successful Scientists"

Abdullah Gül University (AGU) Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu ranked among "Successful Scientists" with 1895 citations and an h-index score of 26.

Prof. Engin Karadağ, Director of the University Assessments and Research Laboratory (ÜniAR), shared some statistical data on Turkish rectors' academic performances.

Rectors were assessed with h-index scores and number of citations received, which are frequently used in the assessment of individual academic performance, publications, and scientific publication performance.

The assessment was carried out based on the data obtained from the Web of Science, which provides an online citation index used by the scientific community and accepted for academic promotions.

In the assessment, AGU Rector Prof. İhsan Sabuncuoğlu ranked among the most successful rectors of Turkey with 1895 citations to his international publications and an h-index of 26.
