With the collaboration of the Industrial Engineering Department and Operational Research Student Club, "Career in Defense Industry" seminar was held as a part of “Kariyer Yolunda Seyrüsefer” (Navigation on the Career Road) events.
Speakers of the seminar were Murat Aslan, Supply Chain Director at ASELSAN, and Şafak Baykal, Project Manager at ASELSAN Railway Projects.
Industrial Engineering students showed interest in the seminar, where Murat Aslan, Supply Chain Director at ASELSAN, informed students about defense industry.
Aslan gave some advice to students who would like to have a career in the defense sector and suggested them to have a very good command of English.
Şafak Baykal, Project Manager at ASELSAN Railway Projects, discussed the place and importance of the Industrial Engineering in the defense sector.
Baykal advised students to gain international experience and highlighted its importance in business life.
At the end of the seminar, Industrial Engineering Head Prof. İbrahim Akgün presented Aslan and Baykal thank you certificates.
