Abdullah Gül University (AGU) signed agreements with 8 universities at the the Asia Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) Conference.

The Asia Pacific Association for International Education Conference was held in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Dr. Burak Arıkan, Advisor to the Rector in Internationalization and Director of the AGU International Office, represented AGU at conference attended by leading universities of Turkey, Japan, Taiwan, Korea and France.

Main topics of the event were international research collaboration, student mobility and support services, digital media solutions and innovations in international higher education.

Abdullah Gül University signed agreements aimed at cooperation such as academic and student exchanges with 8 leading universities of Japan, Taiwan, Korea and France.

Representing AGU at the conference, International Office Director Dr. Burak Arıkan said that during the 4-day conference hosted by National Sun Yat-sen University, he had several meetings and concluded 8 cooperation agreements.

Arıkan said: "We, at Abdullah Gül University, especially care about Asia. Because I believe that in the next 50 years Asia will be very important economically, geographically and educationally. For that reason, we have prioritized Asia in our internationalization strategy since our establishment."

Around 2 thousand 500 participants from 50 countries joined the Asia Pacific Association for International Education Conference, which gathers leading figures, institutes and institutions in higher education.
