The panel "New Middle Classes and Urbanization in Anatolia" was held at Abdullah Gül University.

Organized by the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, the panel hosted as speakers Prof. Fuat Keyman from Sabancı University, Prof. Berrin Loğostanlı Koyuncu from Hacettepe University and Asst. Prof. Feyda Sayan Cengiz from Bilgi University.

Prof. Dilek Cindoğlu, Dean of the School of Humanities and Social Sciences, moderated the panel held at the Rectorate Conference Hall on the Sümer Campus.

In the panel, Prof. Fuat Keyman, Sabancı University, talked about effects of the July 15 Coup Attempt on the society and cities.

Prof. Berrin Loğostanlı Koyuncu, Hacettepe University, talked about urbanization and best examples thereof in Turkey.

Asst. Prof. Feyda Sayan Cengiz, Bilgi University, conveyed her analysis of the situation of hijab and headscarf in business life.

AGU academics, students and administrative staff joined the panel.
